B is for Beauty
2/26. Better than completing forgetting about my blog-alphabet. I chose Beauty today by taking care of my body first, then going out into the world and choosing to see beauty in the everyday things in life. I just love watching old couples giggle…see a mother examining fruit for her child to eat while patiently doting on them…seeing a barista rock out a tall nonfat, no whip, mocha…editing curriculum that will bring new thoughts to desperate hearts…life is so beautiful. Years ago I watched this Italian movie called ‘Life is Beautiful.’ It was about this concentration camp where a father hid his son so he could live. Such a sad, yet beautiful film. And yet, we walk by beautiful things every day in situations in which it should be easy to embrace them, learn from them, be content in them. Lord, renew my mind to remember contently the beauty You have placed around me. Amen!
